Diverse Books Teach Tolerance is a community-based program meant to spread understanding through literature. Books that are written by diverse authors and about diverse topics will be spread throughout our community through book kiosks in our town. Each month we hope to have different themes that can allow all of the members of our community to build different perspectives and understanding about certain groups of people. Our themes include books from members of the Black, Indigenous, Latino, Asian, Muslim, LGBTQ+ communities, and more. We want the readers of these books to be exposed to unique insights and perspectives that they would not normally be able to encounter through their daily lives. We hope that you can help us on our journey to better our communities one book at a time.
